Life insurance:prediction of heart attacks by blood test

Talking about life insurance, potential heart attack sufferers could be identified via a blood test in the future, according to scientists.
Research found that unusual cells run in the bloodstreams of people who have recently had a heart attack. Scientists believe that identifying them sooner could indicate when a high-risk patient is about to have an attack.
The cells - circulating endothelial cells (CECs) - are unusually large, out of shape and often have more than one nucleus.
San Diego scientists discovered that 50 heart attack victims taken into hospital as an emergency had high volumes of the CECs in their blood.
Scripps Translational Science Institute's (STSI) lead investigator, Dr Eric Topol, said: "The ability to diagnose an imminent heart attack has long been considered the Holy Grail of cardiovascular medicine."
Sharp HealthCare's Dr Raghava Gollapudi took part in the research. He said: "This would be an ideal test to perform in an emergency room to determine if a patient is on the cusp of a heart attack or about to experience one in the next couple of weeks.
"Right now we can only test to detect if a patient is currently experiencing or has recently experienced a heart attack." which is as a guarantee for best life insurance as well as low cost life insurance.
