Talking about life insurance, hairdressers should be given more information about skin cancer, so that they can check their customers for the condition.
That is according to health experts, who believe that training should be offered to those who work in the hairdressing sector.
Although the UK currently has no general skin cancer screening scheme, the condition remains a key health threat, with around 100,000 new cases coming to light annually.
Changes in the appearance of moles can signify the onset of skin cancer, while people with fair or freckled skin tend to be most vulnerable to the illness.
Although malignant melanoma causes the deaths of around 2,500 people each year in the UK alone, the condition can be preventable in many cases.
Over-exposure to ultra-violet light from sunbeds or the sun itself can heighten people's chances of contracting the disease.
The most common cases which involve men see skin cancer form on the back, while women are at a greater risk of getting it on their legs, So we have to give much care about skin cancer training for best low cost life insurance.
